"Our faith in God's love through Jesus Christ compels us to make a difference in our city, our state, our nation, and throughout the world. As a body of Christ we desire to worship God, to make disciples of Jesus, and to connect ourselves in ministry to a broken and hurting people."
SAW is an acronym for Saints At Work, taken from 1 Corinthians 15: 58, "...be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...". We are a non-profit organization, incorporated in the state of North Carolina, with federal tax-exemption under the IRS code 501(c)3.
As a body of Christ we believe:
We are called to bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ (Romans 10:13), to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthews 28:18-20), to provide and care for the welfare of one another, including the poor (Luke 14:12-14), the afflicted, the widowed and orphaned (James 1:27b).
To fulfill our mission we embrace the following:
We are committed to reliance on prayer for conception, planning, direction and execution of the ministry and activities of this body.
We are committed to all people, just as they are, without regard to race, gender or age.
We are committed to receiving direction from the Holy Spirit that enables us. We are more concerned with effectiveness in ministry than with adherence to tradition or efficiency.
We are committed to showing the love of our Lord and Savior in all that we do.

"When a poor person dies of hunger, it has not happened because God did not take care of that person. It has happened because neither you or I wanted to give that person what he or she needed."
"A sacrifice to be real must cost, must hurt, must empty ourselves. The fruit of silence is prayer, the fruit of prayer is faith, the fruit of faith is love, the fruit of love is service, the fruit of service is peace."

"The world needs to see Christians burning, not with self-righteous fury at the sliding morals in our country, but with passion for God."
